Annual Cancer Survivors' Day Picnic
Each June we honor our patients and their families with our Annual Cancer Survivors' Day Picnic held the Thursday before the Quad-Cities' Race for the Cure.
It is a day of great food, music, commaraderie and more importantly ... A celebration of life!
The event is held indoors, in the air-conditioned gymnasium, at Our Lady of Lourdes school/church. Follow balloons/signs from our office to the event, just 4 blocks away. Event attendance grows each year. In 2010, over 600 people attend, of which approximately 200 were cancer survivors!
